How do I setup my Scanner and Camera for CompuLink?

  1. From the patient list click on Edit -> Picture.

      1. If TS Scan does not come up, you can also access this by clicking “Document” and starting a Document scan.
  2. After clicking picture you will be brought to this screen. We will start by setting up the scanner. To set up the scanner select the scanner from the “Select scanner” option, uncheck “Scanner UI”, check “Duplex”, and check “Skip if blank”.

  3. After your settings are correct, click “Select profile” drop-down arrow and click“New Profile”.

  4. Since we are starting with the scanner, type Scan in the “Profile Name” box and click “OK”. This completes setting up your scanner profile. Proceed to step 5 to set up the Picture profile.

  5. Once again click the “Select profile” drop-down and click “New Profile”.

  6. This time type Picture in the “Profile Name” field and click “OK”.

  7. Next, we will config the profile by copying the settings below. Uncheck “Duplex”, uncheck “Skip if blank”, check “Scanner UI”, and select “Video DataSource” from the “Select scanner” drop-down.

  8. Once completed click the Save icon next to the profile name.

That’s it! You are now set to be able to switch between scanning and taking pictures in TS Scan. You will use scanning for most things, but you will need to select the picture profile when taking pictures.

Currently these settings are not saving in Advantage, so you will have to do this every time you login to Advantage Cloud and the Advantage app.
